Iran has appointed “Reza Ameri” as Ambassador to United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the first time in eight years. Reza Ameri, who also served as Iran’s envoy to Algeria, Sudan, and Eritrea.

The UN 2023 Water Conference is expected to adopt the Water Action Agenda as a main outcome representing voluntary commitments of countries and stakeholders to meet global water-related goals and targets. The campaign will receive USD 4 million over three years from the Ministry of Social Development to help teens recover from breakups and minimize harm in their relationships.

Nadia Kahf is a Syrian-American attorney who made history in March 2023 when she was sworn in as a Superior Court judge in New Jersey. Kahf is the first hijab-wearing judge in the United States. She is also the third Muslim woman to serve as a Superior Court judge in New Jersey.

The International Day of Happiness is celebrated throughout the world on 20 March. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 28 June 2012. This year the theme of Day is “Be Mindful, Be Grateful, Be Kind.”

Wyoming on March 18, 2023, became the first US state to ban the use of abortion pills, the latest salvo in a campaign by conservative-led states to roll back access to abortion. After signing the ban on abortion pills, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon appealed to legislators to act further by proposing a total ban on abortion be added to the state constitution and then putting it before voters for approval.
