Rotterdam is a sea port in South Holland, the Netherlands, located geographically within the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt river delta at the North Sea

Honolulu means “sheltered harbor”or “calm port.” The old name is said to be Kou, a district roughly encompassing the area from Nuuanu Avenue to Alakea Street and from Hotel Street to Queen Street which is the heart of the present downtown district. The city has been the capital of the Hawaiian Islands since 1845 and gained historical recognition following the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan near the city on December 7, 1941. As of 2015, Honolulu was ranked high on world livability rankings

It lies on Abadan Island (68 km or 42 mi long, 3–19 km or 2–12 miles wide, the island is bounded in the west by the Arvand waterway and to the east by the Bahmanshir outlet of the Karun River (the Shatt al-Arab), 53 kilometres (33 mi) from the Persian Gulf near the Iraqi-Iran border.

Bushehr lies in a vast plain running along the coastal region on the Persian Gulf coast of southwestern Iran, it is built near the ancient port city of Rishahr/Reshire (Sassanian, Riv Ardasher).
