The 6th edition of India-China Joint Military Training Exercise “Hand-in-Hand 2016” has started at the parade ground in Aundh Military Camp in Pune, Maharashtra from November 15 and will continue till November 27. The purpose of the joint exercise is to share the expertise in drills and practices while tackling insurgency and terrorism and also to promote healthy military to military relations between the Indian Army and the People’s Liberation Army of China.

The Camp David Accords was the first peace treaty ever signed by Israel and an Arab nation. It ended the state of war between Israel and Egypt.

The Arab-Israeli conflict stems from the division of Palestine by the United Nations in 1947. Separate Jewish and Arab states were created. The Jews accepted this plan, while the Arabs did not. Shortly after, the Jews created the state of Israel, which caused all of the neighboring Arab nations to attack. There has been nearly constant warfare in this region since the creation of Israel.

Maharaja Gulab Singh (1792–1857) was the founder and first Maharaja of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, the second largest princely state in British India. After the defeat of the Sikhs in the First Anglo-Sikh War, Gulab Singh, who served as Prime Minister of the Sikhs, received from the British all the lands in Kashmir that were ceded to them by the Sikhs by the Treaty of Lahore 1846 to Gulab Singh for Nanakshahi (official monetary unit of Sikh Empire). 7,500,000The Treaty of Lahore of March 9, 1846, was a peace treaty marking the end of the First Anglo-Sikh War. The Suez Canal located in Egypt After several enlargements, the canal is 193.30 km (120.11mi), 24 m (79 ft) deep and 205 metres (673 ft) wide as of 2017, long that connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Gulf of Suez, a northern branch of the Red Sea.
