UAE  Pervez Musharraf, the former military ruler of Pakistan, died in Dubai on February 5, 2023, at the age of 78. He had been suffering from amyloidosis, a rare disease that causes organ damage. Musharraf was born in New Delhi, India, in 1943. He joined the Pakistan Army in 1964 and rose through the ranks to become the country’s president in 1999. He was forced to resign in 2008 after facing widespread protests. Musharraf lived in self-exile in Dubai since 2016. He was diagnosed with amyloidosis in 2018.
