Uqba bin Nafi  Uqba bin Nafi conquered most of Africa. Uqba founded the city of Kairouan, which became the capital of the Islamic province of Ifriqiya. He is also known for the Battle of Yarmouk, Battle of Yamamah, Walaja, and many others. Khalid is said to have never lost a battle. He was the commander of the army during the time of Caliph Abu Bakar. He was replaced by Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah under the orders of the new Caliph, Hazrat Umar. His nick name was The Sword of Allah.
