The Agra Summit was held from 14โ16 July 2001. It was a historic two-day summit meeting between India and Pakistan which was organized with the aim of resolving long-standing issues between India and Pakistan.
The summit was held in Agra, India, and was attended by Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. The two leaders held a series of meetings, but they were unable to reach an agreement on the Kashmir dispute. The summit ended without a formal agreement, but it was seen as a positive step towards improving relations between the two countries.
