Landlocked Countries in the World

There are just 3 enclave countries in the world: Lesotho, San Marino, and Vatican City. Both San Marino and Vatican City are in Europe, and are surrounded by territory belonging to Italy. Lesotho is the largest enclave country, while Vatican City is the smallest.

Ukraine is not a land lock country because it shares its southern border with the Black Sea and the Black Sea is not a closed sea or inland sea because it joins to Mediterranean sea through the Bosporus strait. The Caspian Sea and Aral sea are inland seas or closed seas due to this Kazakistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are considered landlocked countries.

Laos is the only landlocked country in Southeast Asia, bordered by five countries i.e. Thailand to the southwest and west, Cambodia to the southeast, Vietnam to the east and, Myanmar and China to the northwest. The motto of Laos is Peace, independence, democracy, unity, and prosperity. Feng Xat Lao is its anthem. The majority of its population is Buddhist and the official language is Lao and French. An elephant is the national animal of Laos. The capital of Laos is Vientiane. Its currency is Lao kip. And, its president is Bounnhang Vorachith of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
