The Civil Servants Act of Pakistan 1973

A civil servant shall be liable to prescribed disciplinary action and penalties in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

Appointments to an All­Pakistan Service or to the civil service of the Federation or to a civil post in connection with the affairs of the Federation, including any civil post connected with defense, shall be made in the prescribed manner by the President or by a person authorized by the President on that behalf.

Section 1 of Civil Servants Acts 1973 deals with Short title, application, and commencement. — (1) This Act may be called the Civil Servants Act, 1973.
(2) It applies to all civil servants wherever they may be.
(3) It shall come into force at once.

All civil servants and their families shall be entitled to the benefits admissible under the Central Employees Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance Act, 1969 (II of 1969), and the rules made thereunder.
