Majida Razvi was born in 1946 in Karachi, Pakistan. She received her law degree from the University of Karachi in 1968. She began her legal career as a lawyer in the Sindh High Court. In 1979, she was appointed as a deputy attorney general of Sindh. In 1986, she was appointed as a senior deputy attorney general of Sindh. In 1994, she was appointed as a permanent judge of the Sindh High Court. Majida Razvi is a respected jurist and a role model for women in Pakistan. She has been a strong advocate for women’s rights and has worked to promote gender equality in the legal profession. She is also a member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.
