The sky appears blue because some of the blue component of sunlight is scattered by gas molecules in air. Sunlight is made up of all the colors of the rainbow, which are different wavelengths of light. Blue light has a shorter wavelength than other colors, so it is scattered more easily by the gas molecules in the air. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.

The nearest star to Earth after the Sun is Proxima Centauri. It is a red dwarf star that is located about 4.24 light-years from Earth. It is a companion star to the binary star system Alpha Centauri AB. Proxima Centauri is too faint to be seen with the naked eye, but it can be seen with a small telescope. The actual hearing organ is the cochlea. It is a spiral-shaped, fluid-filled structure in the inner ear. The cochlea contains tiny hair cells that vibrate when sound waves enter the ear. These vibrations are converted into electrical signals that are sent to the brain, where they are interpreted as sound.
