Life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH

The Prophet Muhammad SAW preached Islam openly for the first time on Mount Safa. Mount Safa is a hill located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is one of the two hills between which the pilgrims run during the Tawaf ritual of the Hajj and Umrah. The Prophet Muhammad SAW is said to have ascended Mount Safa and called out to the people of Mecca, inviting them to Islam.

Hazrat Maimoona (RA) was the last wife of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). She was the daughter of al-Harith ibn Harb ibn Hilal ibn Asad ibn ‘Abu Amr ibn ‘Auf ibn Ka’ab ibn Lu’ay, and the sister of Abu Rafi’, one of the Prophet’s freed slaves. She was married to Abu al-As ibn ar-Rabi’, a Jewish man from Mecca, and they had a son named Muhammad ibn Abu al-As. After her husband’s death, she converted to Islam and married the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Ziquad 7th Hijri. She lived with the Prophet (peace be upon him) for only two years before he died, and she died in Medina in 680 CE.
