Hazrat Maimoona (RA)  Hazrat Maimoona (RA) was the last wife of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). She was the daughter of al-Harith ibn Harb ibn Hilal ibn Asad ibn ‘Abu Amr ibn ‘Auf ibn Ka’ab ibn Lu’ay, and the sister of Abu Rafi’, one of the Prophet’s freed slaves. She was married to Abu al-As ibn ar-Rabi’, a Jewish man from Mecca, and they had a son named Muhammad ibn Abu al-As. After her husband’s death, she converted to Islam and married the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Ziquad 7th Hijri. She lived with the Prophet (peace be upon him) for only two years before he died, and she died in Medina in 680 CE.
