79 Years Pervez Musharraf breathed his last on 5 Feb 2023, at the age of 79. Pervez Musharraf was a Pakistani four-star general who served as the tenth President of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008. He was born in New Delhi, India in 1943 and joined the Pakistan Army in 1964. He rose through the ranks of the army and eventually became the Chief of Army Staff in 1998. In 1999, he staged a coup d’état and became the President of Pakistan. He was forced to resign in 2008 after facing widespread protests. He lived in self-exile in Dubai since 2016.
