Ayesha Zehri became the first female deputy commissioner of Balochistan in 2023. She was appointed to the position of Deputy Commissioner of Nasirabad district. Zehri is a graduate of the University of Balochistan and has a master’s degree in political science. She has also served as the Assistant Commissioner of Gwadar district.
